The Joy of Homeschooling in Africa
July 10, 2019
Many people in Africa have rejected the idea of homeschooling in Africa, but this method of education is getting popular more and more in South Africa.
I am so glad and proud to be one of the parents that homeschools their children. There is always a joy in your heart knowing what your child is learning. It is important to know what your children are digesting inside.
Many people believe that you have to send your children to school before they can be educated, and become successful in their future career. And many have limited education to a classroom.
There is a joy knowing that you are in control of the education of your children, and everything depends on you. I was talking to a young man the other time, and I was explaining the homeschool system to him, and he sincerely told me that he has never heard anything like that before.
There is a joy knowing the kind of people that will influence your children, and do not forget that, the teachers of your children will have great impact upon them.
There is a joy knowing that you are spending quality time with your children, and getting to know them personally. You get to know more and more. In our state here, pupils in elementary school leave home by 7:30am, and return home by 4:00pm, and many of these kids come back home tired, and unable to do anything again.
And most importantly, you will have a flexible time, knowing that you are in control of your kids’ schedule. Homeschooling is spreading like a wildfire here in Africa, and if you want to know more about this opportunity, you are free to explore this blog for more.
